Laurie Berger, MBA RD LD - Director of Healthcare Initiatives

For over 30 years, Laurie has worked as a Registered Dietitian in a variety of heathcare settings.  In 2002, she joined Kent Precision Foods, Inc. as the Director of Healthcare Initiatives, and quickly started work on a number of projects including the creation of Thick-It Purees, an innovative, ready-to-use line of pureed, comfort foods that are both convenient and delicious.  Prior to her work at Precision Foods, Inc., she worked with dysphagia patients as a Clinical Dietitian at one of the nation’s most prestigious hospitals, Barnes Hospital, in Saint Louis, Missouri.  She has also worked in various sales and marketing positions for nutritional companies that specialize in adult nutritional and dysphagia care products.

During her career, Laurie has worked in a variety of settings to provide products for patients with dysphagia that increase their enjoyment and quality of life.  At Precision Foods, Inc., she continues to work hard to provide those affected by dysphagia with the best products on the market, and is confident that the Thick-It brand can help those with dysphagia improve their quality of life.

 

Christine Wallat, MS/CCP-SLP - Speech-Language Pathologist

Chris Wallat has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years in a variety of clinical settings including skilled nursing facilities, acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation hospitals, subacute brain injury programs and home health care.

Most recently, Chris discovered an area of interest in nutrition and dysphagia products stemming from her experience with swallowing disorders. Chris began working for Kent Precision Foods, Inc. in January 2010 for their healthcare division. Her primary goal is to help educate users about foods and beverages used by those with difficulty swallowing and how choosing appropriate products can improve the safety and quality of life for those who suffer from dysphagia.

 

Jennifer Randazzo, MS, RD, LD - Healthcare Marketing Coordinator

Jennifer Randazzo is a Registered Dietitian and Healthcare Marketing Coordinator at Kent Precision Foods. Jennifer has been working with Thick-It since May 2010, and is the newest member of the Healthcare Team.

As a Registered Dietitian, she works to preserve nutritional integrity of the Thick-It brand and strives to make cutting-edge improvements that may better meet the needs of Thick-It consumers. Prior to her work with Kent Precision Foods, Inc., she worked as a graduate student at Saint Louis University while pursuing her Master’s Degree in medical dietetics. Thick-It is currently expanding options for individuals with swallowing difficulties, both in the pediatric and adult populations, and Jennifer is happy to be a part of something that means so much to so many.

 

Wendy K. Castillo - Healthcare Manager

With over 30 years experience in the foodservice industry as an essential member of upper-management, including Healthcare Director and Sales Manager, Wendy brings her sales expertise to Kent Precision Foods as a Healthcare Sales Manager. Her education and previous work experience provide her with the knowledge and expertise she uses in her current role to make Thick-It dysphagia management products easily available and affordable for those in the foodservice industry. 

Wendy’s goal is to use her experience in sales, management, and customer operations to educate, inform, and present solutions to our distribution channels and our end users. Her personal mission as a member of the Healthcare Team is to educate and create awareness to healthcare and foodservice professionals of the need for dysphagia foods and beverages that are safer for the patient, more appealing, nutritionally sound and taste great.



Dan Krisak - Sales Manager

Dan joins Kent Precision Foods, Inc. as the Sales Manager of the Western Region and brings 35 years of sales and marketing experience to the Healthcare team.  While in sales, Dan has helped develop, test and sell unique products primarily to the foodservice, industrial and healthcare markets.  Also an experienced entrepreneur, Dan most recently co-owned  and operated Clearly Superior, Inc., a Wisconsin-based manufacturing company that produced AquaCareH2O™ for people with dysphagia.


Dan hopes to use his sales and marketing experience  to achieve his goal: to provide excellent products to those with swallowing difficulties that can help improve quality of life.
